Sweden has been sending a male pop artist with a upbeat pop song since 2015 -_- their last female entry was 2014 and that was also the last time they sent something else than a pop song. This again won't win. Not haiting on the artist he's good. But this is getting old.

Not happening, it is the same sauce they sent in 2019 and that song fell flat on its behind with the public vote. People don't vote for this type of song.

@Lord Brackenby Självklart. Vi kan bara spekulera, det är det vi alla kan göra oavsett var vi kommer från. MEN, det som skiljer årets låt från tidigare låtar från Sverige är att Tusses låt har ett bakgrunds-BEAT som sätter sig direkt. Och han har en fantastisk röst och han har melodislinga som bara måste finnas för att en majoritet av hela EBU-folket ska rösta. :) Plus att han har snygg outfit och är bra framför kameran.... :)

@Elisabeth Lindqvist man kan ju bara spekulera hur det kommer gå, men vi får se hur det går i Maj sen, har inte heller sagt att låten var dålig, bara att man ser en trend i att Juryn och folket inte håller med helt om Sveriges låtar, men jag skulle tippa på en topp 5 placering för Sverige i år igen

@Elisabeth Lindqvist Europa är lite trötta på att vi skickar radiovänliga poplåtar, juryn kommer älska det eftersom låten är så välproducerad, men folket kommer o ge lite lägre poäng som de har varit de två senaste åren

Give it up. It’s getting ridiculous. All songs incorporate familiar sounds and notes to catch the listener. It’s called melodic math. It’s used by every songwriter, especially if you want a song to get stuck on the first listen, which is ideal in a competition

Magical? He is off-key at the moments that matter. Or does he get a pass for mistakes that others get shot down over? During the first Chorus, he is going off when he pitches up. It also stays too much on 1 tone length. Making it more of a repetitive drag as the song keeps going. He is a good singer no doubt but the song.

Compared to the other pop songs he will seriously struggle. Azerbaijan, Israel, Malta and Cyprus are all fishing in that same pond. Don't be surprised if he doesn't make it. With Israel Azerbaijan and Malta all performing in the second half near the end, which is the sweet spot for all contests so far. 12/14/16 respectively while Sweden performs as 4th. Worse maybe that Australia is coming after Sweden, Montaigne with Technicolor. Talking about someone with a good live voice. Every note dead set on key. And the song is also pretty much pop. And Australia always seems to gather votes from all over Europe.
